The accommodation is simple but well equipped, offering good facilities for
self-catering groups.
The kitchen has a large range gas cooker, microwave, toasters, large
fridge/freezer, washing machine, large keeping-larder, drying cupboard,
pots/pans and utensils.
Crockery, cutlery, cups and glasses are stored in the scullery.
The entrance utility/pantry has ample storage for coats, walking boots and
wellies.
There are blankets, pillows and bedspreads but groups must bring their own bed
linen or sleeping bags and separate pillow cases, towels and tea towels, toilet
paper and soap.
There is a table tennis table, climbing frame, basketball net and goal posts
– bring your own bats, balls and other equipment.
Available on request: good quality electronic piano.
There is a payphone in the house.
The house is non-smoking.
Outside there is a large garden with terraced lawns and a climbing frame. There
is parking for many cars behind the house, and a large play space in the big garage.
There is a small gift shop and gallery in Hutton-le-hole, but it only sells
gifts . The Ryedale Folk Museum has a wonderful collection of reconstructed dwellings - take a walk through the site and learn about the history of Ryedale from centuries past.
The nearest shops are at the market town of Kirkbymoorside,
approximately 4 miles away, which
will serve all your requirements.
